Review of 2025
NDCC 2025 1st XI
First XI
2025 was a tough season for the 1st team however the way we stuck together was a credit to the
club. I have no doubts every bloke who played for me over the summer left every effort out on the
field and with a little luck on our side, the season might have looked a little different. That being said,
we are aware we weren9t up the standards needed and we have learnt a lot of lessons on how we
can be more successful.
2026 creates us an opportunity to get back to winning ways and create a real feel good feeling back
around the cricket club. With the playing group staying together and additions of a couple quality
cricketers, we have the tools to bounce straight back. There is no hiding away from the fact we want
to win the league but it9s important we take it game by game and see where we end up in September.
I for one am certainly excited for the forthcoming season. I have the bit between my teeth to put
some wrongs right from the last 12 months and get North Devon Cricket Club back to where they
belong. I look forward to seeing you all around the club over the season and hopefully we can repay
your continued support with some fantastic individual and team performances.
